Litigation Partner and Former Fifth Circuit Clerk Paulette Miniter Joins Brown Fox

DALLAS, Texas – Brown Fox PLLC, a Chambers-ranked business law firm with offices in Dallas and Frisco, Texas, is pleased to announce the arrival of litigation Partner Paulette Miniter. Prior to joining Brown Fox, Ms. Miniter practiced at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, LLP, with prior stops at Lynn Pinker Hurst & Schwegmann and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP. Between her time at Lynn Pinker and Akin Gump, she clerked at the Fifth Circuit for the Honorable Judge Catharina Haynes. Best Lawyers has recognized Ms. Miniter as “One to Watch” three years in a row. Ms. Miniter will focus her practice on business and commercial litigation, as well as on appeals.

Ms. Miniter graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Texas, where she was a writer for The Daily Texan. She later earned her law degree from the University of Virginia, where she was an Editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law and graduated Order of the Coif. She also has a master’s degree from Skidmore College.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Miniter was a journalist in various parts of the nation, including Washington, D.C., and New York City. Ms. Miniter will be based in the firm’s Dallas office.
Ms. Miniter is active in the community, serving on the Board of New Friends New Life and as a member of the Fifth Circuit’s Pro Bono Panel, the Texas State Bar Appellate Section Pro Bono Program, the Rotunda Society and UVA Lone Star Lawyers 1L Mentorship Program. She is also a past member of the Orchid Giving Circle at Texas Women’s Foundation, and she was previously a co-editor for the American Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel Committee Newsletter and a co-chair for the American Bar Association’s Delaware Corporations Subcommittee – Commercial and Business Litigation Committee.
