Andrew Debter is a litigation associate who brings sought-after experience as a former federal law clerk, as well as internships in the federal bankruptcy courts and state appellate courts. His litigation experience includes commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and antitrust litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Debter served a two-year federal clerkship to the Hon. Aileen M. Cannon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Debter’s judicial service also includes student judicial internships for the Hon. Harlan D. Hale of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas and the Hon. John J. Kelley of the New York Supreme Court. Before clerking, Mr. Debter worked as a litigation and insurance coverage associate for a law firm in New York City.
A solid strategy, great negotiating skills, and a competitive spirit are crucial when playing Catan. Every board is different, and I love the challenge of winning when playing with family and friends.
I have a growing collection of vinyl records, and enjoy seeing live music whenever I can and discovering new artists. I’m often asked to make playlists for special occasions.

Andrew was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended school at Providence Christian School and Trinity Christian Academy. Andrew and his wife, Lauren, have two daughters. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys reading, watching football, and playing board games like Settlers of Catan.
