Ms. Finch’s notable accomplishments include:
- Successfully defending pleas to the jurisdiction for a variety of premises liability claims brought under the Texas Torts Claims Act.
Prior to joining Brown Fox, Ms. Finch served as an Assistant City Attorney with the Dallas City Attorney’s Office, defending the City of Dallas against a variety of lawsuits under the Texas Tort Claims Act.

More About Mackensie McGinness Finch
A multigenerational Texas native raised in Dallas, Mackensie calls the Dallas area home and lives in Garland with her husband, Michael, and their two dogs, Lila and Sophie. Mackensie followed the family tradition and attended Southern Methodist University for her undergraduate studies, becoming the 14th degree in her family from SMU. Outside of work, Mackensie enjoys baking sweet treats, reading, and attending musicals and SMU athletics events. Mackensie is a member of the First United Methodist Church, Dallas, where she sings in the Chancel Choir every Sunday and volunteers her time on committees and other community projects.
