Brown Fox Promotes Alan Carrillo and Morgan Buller to Partner

Brown Fox is pleased to announce the promotion of Senior Associates Morgan Buller and Alan Carrillo to the firm’s partnership ranks, effective January 1, 2026. The new partners represent both the Frisco and Dallas offices and reflect the firm’s growth and commitment to developing associates into successful partners.

Alan Carrillo, based in the Dallas office, advises and represents clients in commercial litigation. Mr. Carrillo has been recognized as a “Best Lawyer Under 40” by D Magazine, “One to Watch” by Best Lawyers, and a “Texas Rising Star” by Super Lawyers. Prior to Brown Fox, Mr. Carrillo was an associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Foley & Lardner LLP. Between his time at Foley and Akin, Mr. Carrillo served as an inaugural law clerk to U.S. District Judge Brantley Starr of the Northern District of Texas. He served as the President of the Dallas chapter of the Federal Bar Association from 2023 to 2025.

Mr. Carrillo earned his law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law in 2018. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Patrick Henry College, where he served as Student Body President.
Morgan Buller, based in the Frisco office, counsels and defends clients in labor and employment and business litigation matters. Ms. Buller shared, “I am honored to be named Partner at Brown Fox and excited to contribute to the firm’s continued growth and success in this role. Our team’s commitment to exceptional client service drives my approach to providing practical, strategic solutions in business, commercial, and employment matters.”
Ms. Buller obtained her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law in 2018. She holds an MBA from Villanova University and earned her B.S. from Baylor University in 2015.
