Brown Fox Launches Collin County Office with Four Attorneys and Expectations for Growth

Brown Fox, a growing business boutique law firm focused on serving corporations and executives, recently opened its second office, located in Collin County. The opening coincides with the addition of Partner Brandi McKay and Associate Jon Strain. Brown Fox Partners Eric Wood and David Denton will also primarily office at the firm’s new Collin County location.
Each of the firm’s attorneys based in Collin County have resided in Plano, Frisco, or Prosper for over a decade. Managing Partner Russ Brown shared, “Our Collin County attorneys are invested personally and professionally in the region and appreciate the long-term business opportunities, as well as the current challenges presented by the pandemic. They know the courts and business climate; they serve with great community focused organizations in the area; and they are raising their kids in the same communities as regional business owners and corporate leadership. The Collin County office has been part of the firm’s vision many years. However, patience has been the name of the game, whether seeking the right mix of attorney talent or confronting the unprecedented challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Brown explained, “We initially had to be patient and await the right mix of talent and opportunity. Then COVID-19 hit earlier this year, causing our leadership to pause again and carefully evaluate next steps. Yet even with the deep challenges presented by the pandemic, we recognized that we can better serve our clients now and in the future with this team and this office.”
