In an Era of Divisiveness, Teamwork Will Defeat the Enemy Before Us
March 17, 2020 by Russ Brown
I woke this morning with gratitude in a challenging time. A national, collective clarity is emerging in an era of divisiveness; we share a common enemy in COVID-19. Our nation is soberly processing the new environment and challenges, and we are up for the battle. There is an in-this-together atmosphere all of us can feel, locally, nationally, and even globally. We are now at war with this virus. The nature of this adversary requires our teamwork to beat it, an unexpected element of beauty in a very challenging time. We will beat this enemy, but we must work together to do it.
The Brown Fox team wants you to know that we are in this with you and prepared to help at every turn. We have taken great measures to protect our team. And thanks to our aggressive approach to use technology to our advantage in the legal world, we are not missing a beat in serving current or future clients regardless of physical location.
Today also officially marks a decade of Brown Fox. Our law firm launched with a big vision in challenging times. We began with no clients at the end of the Great Recession. I was in a war zone in the DR Congo and Adam Fox was moving our two “new” used desks into our subleased offices. We celebrated nothing, but pressed forward as a team, fueled by faith, optimism, resilience, and hard work. A decade later and soon to be over twenty lawyers, we are a team left in sober reflection, but still driven by the same ingredients present on day one.
We do not need to touch to be arm in arm in this battle. Let us collectively press forward, optimistic that we are up for the battle this virus presents and whatever other challenges the next decade brings.
We are grateful for you and remain ready to serve.
