Five Brown Fox Partners Named 2020 Super Lawyers

Brown Fox is pleased to announce that five of the firm’s partners, Darrell Noga, Scott Self, Eric Wood, Zach Hilton, and Russ Brown, have been recognized as 2020 Super Lawyers. Earlier this year, Cort Thomas, Neal Parekh, and Christopher Klement were honored as 2020 Rising Stars. Brandi McKay, Stephen Key, and David Denton have received prior Super Lawyers and Rising Stars honors. Collectively, the firm’s attorneys have been recognized as Super Lawyers thirty times and Rising Stars thirty-five times.
Mr. Noga is an experienced trial and appellate attorney with over thirty years of experience representing governmental and corporate clients, along with their individual officers and employees. He has successfully litigated a wide variety of cases, with an emphasis on governmental representation, civil rights litigation, employment litigation and labor negotiations. Mr. Noga has persuaded juries of his clients’ positions in numerous state and federal courts and has also successfully argued before the Texas Supreme Court and various state and federal courts of appeal.
Mr. Self has been honored as Super Lawyer eight times. He is an accomplished, board-certified trial attorney for close to two decades, and has tried dozens of high-stakes civil cases, including cases involving wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, employment, and multimillion-dollar business and commercial disputes. He also has presented oral arguments to several Texas appellate courts. Mr. Self is committed to achieving favorable outcomes for his clients in all aspects of his legal practice, from early case evaluation to crafting thoughtful legal strategies, developing crucial evidence, and authoring effective pretrial motions.
Mr. Wood has been honored as a Super Lawyer four times. He has tried dozens of cases in both state and federal court and argued appeals in Texas and U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeals. He is a tireless and creative litigator who has represented clients in all kinds of business disputes for more than 15 years, including cases involving breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, enforcement of non-competition agreements, deceptive trade practices (DTPA), fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, copyright infringement, trademark infringement and patent infringement, fair debt collection practices, and employment disputes.
Mr. Brown has been honored as a Super Lawyer seven times. Along with co-founding Brown Fox and serving as the firm’s managing partner, he represents businesses and executives, with a focus on labor and employment law.
