Brown Fox’s Alan Carrillo Co-Chairs 2024 Northern District of Texas Bench Bar Conference

Brown Fox was pleased to continue its support of the Northern District of Texas Bench Bar Conference in 2024. The Dallas and Fort Worth Chapters of the Federal Bar Association (FBA) hosted the seventh annual conference on April 19, 2024, in Las Colinas. Litigation Associate Alan Carrillo co-chaired the conference for the second year in a row, offering the conference’s opening and closing remarks. He has served as the FBA President since 2023. Partner Cort Thomas, who chaired the inaugural bench bar conference in 2017, continues to serve on the FBA Dallas Chapter board.

In conjunction with the conference, the Northern District held its third annual Northern District of Texas Law Clerk Reunion the evening before the conference. Brown Fox was honored to again provide a sponsorship for the reunion. Mr. Thomas and Mr. Carrillo, who both clerked for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in Dallas, attended the reunion. Mr. Thomas served as a term law clerk to U.S. District Judge Jane J. Boyle from 2010 to 2011, and Mr. Carrillo served as an inaugural term law clerk to U.S. District Judge Brantley Starr from 2019 to 2020.
