Brown Fox Sponsors IJM Dallas Justice Spring Gathering

Brown Fox proudly continued its support of IJM’s work across the globe by again sponsoring the IJM Dallas Justice Gathering this spring. The firm has been committed to supporting IJM’s mission since the firm’s founding in 2010. In 2008, Managing Partner Russ Brown traveled to India to assist with training IJM attorneys. His time with the organization’s attorneys and employees, and former slaves in India free as a result of IJM’s work, remain a pivotal moment for him personally and professionally. Mr. Brown shared,

“My time with IJM in India changed my worldview, how I can serve within my law practice, and served as a catalyst to the eventual formation of Brown Fox.” Mr. Brown and his wife, Renee, later chaired the 2016 benefit dinner focused on IJM’s work against cybersex trafficking. In 2020, Mr. Brown led a team of Dallas lawyers to IJM’s El Salvador offices and to visit with Compassion International. Brown Fox Associate Alan Carrillo worked with IJM in Washington, D.C. and Kenya prior to attending law school. It was Mr. Brown’s and Mr. Carrillo’s work with IJM that built their friendship and decision earlier this year to team together at Brown Fox.
