Brown Fox Proud to Sponsor Act’s 2020 Generation Justice

Brown Fox, a firm providing regular pro bono assistance to Act clients and a long-time sponsor of Act’s initiatives in South Dallas and West Dallas, is proud to again sponsor Act’s 2020 Generation Justice. Generation Justice is a growing community of young professionals who want to better know, love, and transform their city. Act’s annual spring event, Generation Justice, was reimagined and hosted on September 10, 2020 as a virtual live-streamed event with many individuals and small watching parties gathered across the city to safely watch and engage in this unique event. More than a social event, this gathering is specially designed to educate and inspire us to stand for justice and invest ourselves in citywide changes.

This year, there was a panel conversation moderated by Act about the roles of justice and community safety in a thriving community. The panel included Yulise Waters, Deputy Director at Lone Star Justice Alliance, and Major Vincent Weddington with the Dallas Police Department. The enlightening conversation centered around the role of police in the community, opportunities for equitable justice reform, and our collective responsibility in making a more just society.
