Favorite Food: Paneer Tikka Masala (North Indian dish)
Favorite Movie: I don’t really have a “favorite” per se, but The Fast and the Furious is definitely one of my top choices.
Favorite Book: Ender’s Game
Favorite Travel Destination: Paris, France
Why Dallas?: Simply because Dallas is my home. I was born and raised in the Dallas area, and the first time I really ever lived outside the metroplex was for law school!
Greatest Accomplishment: Getting engaged to my fiancée.
Little Known Fact About You: I choreographed and partook in a Bollywood-style dance during my time in undergrad, representing the Indian Student Association in an international talent show.
Hobbies/Interests: Fitness, table tennis, cooking, dancing, cars, and French language & culture.
Pets?: Yes: fish. I have a 5.5 gallon aquarium hosting 5 Glo-fish™ (zebra danios) and an Albino Plecostomus; and I have a Halfmoon Betta in a 1 gallon on the side.
What makes Brown Fox Unique?: What really impresses me about Brown Fox was the fact the attorneys there are so sharp and knowledgeable, but at the same time possess an equal depth of care for clients. Everybody at Brown Fox recognizes that clients are not merely a source of business revenue, but rather are people needing legal assistance, and they work hard to foster client relationships that are built on trust and character.
Why are you becoming a lawyer?: From an early age, I had decided that I wanted to go into the legal field. People always told me I was good at arguing, so I should become a lawyer. But during my college years, I finally realized why I wanted to go into law —because I wanted to help people. I ultimately chose the law as my vehicle for helping people because I am not only passionate about helping others, but also about law itself.
What are your current job duties at Brown Fox: I am currently a Summer Associate at Brown Fox working primarily in the litigation and trial group, and so I assist attorneys by providing real-world application of my legal education, and simultaneously benefit clients with efficient delegation of firm resources.
