Litigators Darrell Noga and Chris Klement Join Brown Fox
July 29, 2019 by Brown Fox
Darrell Noga, an attorney known for representing cities and municipalities throughout Texas, has joined Brown Fox as a Partner. Chris Klement has joined the firm as a Senior Associate. Mr. Noga and Mr. Klement immediately bring to the firm a thriving practice representing government clients and add depth to the firm’s labor and employment, trial, and appellate practices.
Mr. Noga, a graduate of Georgetown University Law, is a trial and appellate attorney with over thirty years of experience representing governmental and corporate clients, along with their individual officers and employees. He has successfully litigated a wide variety of cases, with an emphasis on governmental representation, civil rights litigation, employment litigation and labor negotiations.
Prior to attending Georgetown Mr. Noga obtained his B.A. and M.A. from DePaul University, both with Highest Honors. After earning his M.A., the graduating class selected Mr. Noga as the convocation speaker. Mr. Noga taught World History at DePaul before attending Georgetown Law. Upon earning his law degree, Mr. Noga began his practice in Chicago, but later moved down to Texas, where he has practiced for over twenty years. He is a frequent speaker before various professional organizations, including the Texas State Bar.
Mr. Noga shared, “I am truly excited to become a part of a dynamic, innovative and growing firm that has a long track record of providing outstanding service to its clients and has a very bright future ahead of it. As for my new colleagues, the attorneys here seem like an all-star team, to borrow a sports analogy, as they are uniformly both excellent lawyers and excellent persons, who have demonstrated they ‘walk the walk’ when it comes to the firm credo on our wall, ‘Character Matters.’”
Mr. Klement, a two-time Rising Star, is a litigator who focuses his practice on civil rights and business and commercial litigation. Often teaming up with Mr. Noga, Mr. Klement has significant experience representing government clients. He also brings to the firm a background in banking law after serving in-house at a large Texas Bank.
Mr. Klement graduated from SMU Dedman School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Barristers and was selected as the Best Graduating Advocate. Prior to law school Mr. Klement obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas.
Managing Partner Russ Brown shared, “We are extremely excited about the 1-2 punch that came to Brown Fox when Darrell and Chris decided to join us. Darrell is a heck of a trial attorney who brings a relatability to any client and future jury member. As a guy who still throws on the skates and plays competitive ice hockey, he also knows how and when to be tough. Chris loves the courtroom and over a short period of time has been honored for his skills as a litigator. He’s already a force to be reckoned with in the courtroom. We also love that he brings to the firm tremendous servant leadership, one of our core values, dedicating a significant amount of time serving through his church and the Knights of Columbus.”
Brown Fox is a Dallas-based law firm, primarily focused on business and commercial litigation, corporate and securities matters, labor and employment, intellectual property, and governmental matters. The firm’s representative clientele includes start-ups; partnerships; small to mid-size, private Texas companies; publicly traded companies; international corporations; and cities and municipalities. The firm also regularly handles contractual negotiations and disputes for C-level executives and upper management.
