Brown Fox Continues Commitment to IJM with Sponsorship of 2018 Dallas Benefit Dinner

Despite slavery’s illegality in most places in the world, there are an estimated 40 million slaves today. That’s five times the population of New York City, and greater than the combined population of 80 countries. Amazing organizations like International Justice Mission (IJM) have brought hope to what sounds hopeless.  The organization, working in seventeen communities around the world, have taken these injustices head on and are achieving amazing results, seemingly rescuing victims from slavery and other brutal crimes daily.  Brown Fox is proud to continue its support of IJM’s work across the globe by again sponsoring the IJM Dallas Benefit Dinner.

While our attorneys have served IJM in Uganda, Rwanda, and India, the most tangible way for our team to regularly serve IJM is to participate in the annual IJM Dallas Benefit Dinner.  Managing Partner Russ Brown, and his wife Renee, chaired the then record-breaking 2016 benefit dinner that raised $1.75 million for IJM’s work against cybersex trafficking, and have remained on the Benefit Committee since 2013.  That fundraising record did not last long, with the 2017 Dallas Benefit eclipsing that mark.  This year’s May 2, 2018 Dallas Benefit Dinner is another sellout, and we look forward to hearing more about the hope IJM is bringing to dark places in the world, and hopefully breaking another record to help IJM to combat slavery and injustice across the globe.
