Brown Fox Delivers Toys and Matching Cash Donation for Brother Bill’s Toy Drive
December 11, 2025 by Brown Fox

Each holiday season, Brother Bill’s Helping Hand works to bring Christmas joy to children in under-resourced Dallas communities. Brother Bill’s aims to provide 8,000 gifts to 2,000 children up to age twelve. Brown Fox continued its annual tradition by supporting the toy drive, delivering boxes of toys along with a matching $2,500 gift. Managing Partner Russ Brown, Chief Operating Officer Jeff Ward, Associate Garett Godkin, and Marketing Coordinator Julissa Gutierrez delivered the gifts and check earlier this week.
For over 80 years, Brother Bill’s has served thousands of families in West and South Dallas. Referring to all clients as “neighbors,” the organization focuses on offering a “hand up” rather than simply a “hand out.” In addition to food and gifts, Brother Bill’s provides healthcare and vision services, educational and ESL classes, job and financial literacy training, exercise and nutrition programs, and after-school support to empower families for long-term success.
Brown Fox is a long-time partner of Brother Bill’s, with attorneys and staff regularly sponsoring events, joining service days, and providing pro bono legal support to advance its mission. Russ Brown shared, “Brother Bills’ provides much-needed resources to thousands of ‘neighbors’ all year long, and they do it in a way that equips them with training, needed groceries, health care, and more. We love supporting their regular programming and service, but it’s also a joy simply to bring Christmas morning smiles to so many kiddos.”
