Sports teach us teamwork, perseverance, handling victory and defeat, and making sacrifices, all of which I have tried to instill in my daughters. As I have aged and left my glory years behind me, I have gladly become an avid fan and spectator.
The globe reminds me of my childhood and how my experiences and relationships around the world molded me into the person that I am today. It also serves as the motivation to take my family to see the places where I grew up.
My grandfather flew a B-24 bomber in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He was my hero and taught me about faith, humility and service.

With a father in the oil business, David grew up in East Africa and Southeast Asia and enjoyed the privilege of traveling the globe. However, his Texas roots run deep and Dallas has always been his true home. He and his wife, Kelley, met at Southern Methodist University, have been married for twenty years, and have two daughters. When he is not at a soccer game or a dance recital, David enjoys exercising, reading a book, and watching professional soccer or college football. He and his family are members of Park Cities Presbyterian Church.
